Program Description
The ACES program provides purposeful, goal oriented activities
for adults with developmental disabilities, who may not be ready
or wanting only vocationally oriented training. The program operates
Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4PM. Many activities do occur
on site such as personal self-care , life skills, art and gardening.
But many outings also take place to libraries, movies, museums,
parks, and fairs, to name a few. Learning to access everyday services
and using them properly are a portion of goals for some; such as
making a purchase, crossing the street safely, and learning who
are "safe strangers".
