Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Program Description

The ADA program provides purposeful, goal oriented activities for people with severe disabilities, who may not be ready or wanting vocationally oriented training. The program operates Monday through Friday from 8AM to 4PM. Many activities do occur on site such as personal self-care or art and gardening. But many outings also take place to libraries, movies, museums, parks, fairs, and restaurants to name a few. Learning to access everyday services and using them properly are a portion of goals for some; such as making a purchase, crossing the street safely, and learning who are "safe strangers".
