Kids Place Hours:
5:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Staff:
Kids Place staff includes registered nurses, a nurse practitioner, college degreed staff and child development staff.
Age Groups:
Kids Place offers five separate classrooms for four age groups: 2 year olds, 3 year olds, 4 year olds, and 5 year olds. Kids Place also provides preschool and after-school care for Kindergarten age children through second grade.

Kids Place is the largest, licensed childcare facility in Scott County, offering education and nurturing for children two years through the 5th grade. Kids Place is also an accredited program. Kids Place provides developmentally appropriate childcare and preschool services in a safe and supportive environment. New Hope Services received the Governor’s Showcase Award for Kids Place as a model of development services for children.
Kids Place Philosophy. Kids Place functions as a family-friendly, family-driven daycare program that seeks to remain sensitive to the needs of individual families. An array of services are available to children and families: Healthy Families, Children’s Health Clinic, WIC program as well as family support and parenting classes.
Kids Place was established in Scottsburg in October 1988 with local fundraising gifts from the community and grants from the Crusade for Children and Ronald McDonald Foundation.
Kids Place is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
