The Employment Service Program at New Hope Services was established to assist individuals in selecting, obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate employment in competitive settings commensurate with individual needs and interests. These services are available at New Hope Services in Clark County and at Futures UnLTD. in Scott County. The Employment Services staff will develop a profile to collect information such as: Past employment experiences Educational experiences Personal preferences and interests Available transportation options Medical needs Current level of independence Social and living situations Work-related goals The consumer's "team" will then assist with development of an appropriate individuals plan from a menu of services including: Evaluation to determine work interests Training in job-seeking skills Transportation training Job Coaching Long term follow-along Today, what most employers tell us they need is a solid, dependable work force. At New Hope Services, Inc. our Employment Services Program is helping employers meet that need. Most importantly, however, we help individuals with developmental, physical and/or emotional disabilities realize their maximum potential within integrated community work settings alongside non-disabled co-workers.
