Family Services Mission
To promote and strengthen families with respect and compassion through prevention, education, and support.
New Hope Services supports families in need in the Southern Indiana area with a wide range of programs that offer food and nutrition counseling, parenting support, family planning services and more. From budgeting to handling the stress of parenting, our staff is fully trained to support parents in any circumstance. We can even provide guidance and counseling on raising a healthy child. All of these services are designed to work in collaboration toward the ultimate goal of strengthening families.

HopeCare Clinic-Family Planning
The HopeCare Clinic is open 4 days a week and appointments are accepted. We are open to the public and no referral is required. Adolescents, men, and women of reproductive age welcome! Services are provided at no or very low cost; Medicaid and private insurance accepted.
The Clinic is staffed by a nurse practitioner who performs routine testing and examinations for men, women and adolescents. English & Spanish spoken.

- Medical Exams: annual exam, pap smear, breast exam
- Birth control available
- Pregnancy testing and counseling
- Emergency contraception
- Testing, treatment, and counseling for sexually transmitted infections
- Urinary tract and vaginal infections testing and treatment
Telehealth Services Now Available!
- See one of our providers from the comfort of your home
- Can be used to prescribe several forms of birth control including pills, patch and vaginal ring
- Can be used if patients have limitations such as issues with childcare or transportation
- Use for follow up on test results
- Can be used for new or established patients
- Patients can use a phone or a computer with audio and video capabilities and to have zoom downloaded
- No extra cost to the patient
- English & Spanish spoken.

Healthy Families
Healthy Families is a voluntary and confidential home-based service to support new and expectant parents. Because babies begin learning at birth, Healthy Families believes parents are their child’s first and best teachers. Parenting is a very demanding job and all parents have worries, questions and stress.
The program provides families with information about services available in the community, information about the health, safety and care of newborns, and access to the latest information on brain development. Families receive regular visits from a trained Family Support Specialist who can provide support, developmental assessments for their child, and an opportunity to set and accomplish family goals.

- Parent-child activities that promote infant brain development and bonding

Women, Infants and Children (WIC)
WIC is a federally-funded nutrition program that provides benefits, nutrition counseling, and community referrals to pregnant, breastfeeding, and postpartum women, infants and children under five years of age in Bartholomew, Clark, Jackson, Jefferson, Jennings, Scott and surrounding Indiana counties.
WIC is designed to improve fetal development, reduce the incidence of low birth weight and premature births, reduce maternal and childhood anemia, and promote breastfeeding.
The WIC program helps families like yours start strong and stay that way. We give you benefits you can use to get nutritious foods, free.
We know that raising a family takes more than love, it takes money. Unfortunately, times are tight for families like yours all across Indiana. Every month, more than 155,000 Hoosiers count on WIC for more than free food. They count on us for good food, free.
Who's Eligible?
- Pregnant women
- New moms (up to six months after delivery)
Breastfeeding moms (up to one year after delivery) - Infants
- Children under the age of five
You must live in Indiana and meet income guidelines. Check the income chart here* to see if your family may qualify.
When you apply, you’ll receive a personalized nutrition assessment to see if the program is right for you.
Families already receiving Medicaid, Food Stamps, and TANF are income eligible for the WIC program.

How does WIC Work?
As a WIC applicant, you will contact the clinic in your community for a free visit to be enrolled and to pick up your benefits. At the appointment, you’ll receive nutrition education and breastfeeding support, and learn about other services you can use to help your family. The WIC benefits can be used at local grocery stores for cereal, juice, milk, eggs, peanut butter, beans, whole wheat bread, brown rice, whole wheat or corn tortillas, fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables, cheese, and baby food.
