M. Fine on Spring Senior Housing Community Now Open

Our latest affordable housing development, M. Fine on Spring, is now open. Residents began moving in at the end of December, and we expect full occupancy by mid-March. There are 51 one and two bedroom units in the complex and we currently have a waiting list.

All units are equipped with energy efficient appliances, including washers and dryers, and programmable thermostats. M. Fine on Spring offers community living under one roof, with amenities that include an onsite fitness center, theater, restaurant, community rooms, and outdoor roof terrace. Six units are designed and specially equipped for residents using wheelchairs.

Located at 835 Spring Street in Jeffersonville, Indiana, the property was originally home to the M. Fine & Sons shirt-making factory in the 1930s. It stood vacant for many years, was occupied for a short time by a roofing company, and for 20 years was home to a popular haunted house attraction called “Industrial Nightmare.”

The surrounding area is being redeveloped as part of the community’s Gateway Project with an arts and cultural district, green space, outdoor games, food and entertainment.
